Designed to fit surgical staplers
and provide reinforcement
NEOVEIL® Staple Line Reinforcement
NEOVEIL® Staple Line Reinforcement is a product made of bioabsorbable polyglycolic acid (PGA). It is fitted for surgical staplers used during open or minimally invasive surgery. This product may reduce complications from the staple line and reinforce stapled areas.
NEOVEIL® Staple Line Reinforcement includes one sleeve for the cartridge and one sleeve for the anvil of the corresponding stapler. After firing the stapler, the non-degradable elastic knits, comprised of polyurethane and nylon, are removed, and discarded along with the PGA tacking threads. The pre-formed, porous non-woven sheet component is absorbed after surgery.
Why Choose NEOVEIL® Staple Line Reinforcement?
Bioabsorbable
Degrades by hydrolysis and is completely absorbed in approximately 15 weeks.
Strength During Healing
Maintains mechanical strength during the critical would healing period of 10-14 days post-surgery.
Highly Conformable
Sheets made of polyglycoic acid (PGA) on the anvil and cartridge sleeves, with the elasticity to closely adhere to tissue.
Visible
Dyed green (FDA certified) to enable surgeons to easily distinguish from tissue.
Globally Accepted
A proven product that has been highly recognized by surgeons around the world for more than two decades.
